Tottenham Carnival

Winter Wonderland

winter wonderland

In 2007, Santa and his team of elves, decided to pay a surprise visit to all of the children and families in Tottenham (especially those who live in the area not covered by the summer carnival parade.) As it was a new venture, the parade was not as large as the summer event, but over the years, many new groups wanted to get involved and the parade got bigger and bigger.

The floats and walkers looked spectacular and special effects lighting, lit up the night sky! Each year , Father Christmas, plus our Snow Queen surrounded by sacks of presents, leads the parade along the High Road , from the Edmonton border, onto to Philip Lane , Lawrence Road , West Green Road and back onto the High Road at Seven Sisters Station. In 2011, Father Christmas and his band of elves distributed presents from his magical grotto to the hundreds of children gathered at the Winter Market and Festival event on Tottenham Green. The evening finished with some fantastic local performers on the stage on the Green.
